All smiles! Rob Sellors, from the host club (IOMVAC), pictured here by Murray Lambden shortly after the start in Ramsey. Rob went on to a good finish, in 5th place overall with a time of 3:04:42, & 2nd in the Isle of Man Championship. Right behind Rob in this shot is Rebecca Johnson (the winner of our womens marathon in 2008 & ladies record holder), who went on to finish first lady with a time of 3:09:40.
